Common Citation Errors
All Titles: Capitalize the first letter of the first word, last word, subtitle, and all principle words.
Do not capitalize...
- Articles (a, an, the)
- Prepositions (against, as, between, in, of, to)
- Coordinating conjunctions (and, but, for, or, yet) NOT: Eleanor Of Aquitaine - YES: Eleanor of Aquitaine
- The to in infinitives (e.g., How to Make Cookies)
Always capitalize...
- The first and last words of the title
- The first word in a subtitle
- All other principal words (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, etc...)
NO ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!!

Fix anything that is normally not in ALL CAPS!

"LOOKING IN THE GUTTER" --- Change to "Looking in the Gutter"
