Databases that you IMPORT into NoodleTools

Please IMPORT the following databases into your NoodleTools project. Do NOT copy and paste.

  • All Gale Databases
  • All Infobase Databases
  • JSTOR

Databases: Copy and Paste into NoodleTools

ONLY FOR THE FOLLOWING DATABASES

Britannica Academic and Salem Online

  1. Open up a NoodleTools Template: Database --> Reference Source 
  2. Go to: Quick cite: Copy & paste a citation  (Top of the page) Click on Copy & paste a citation
  3. Go to your article:
  • Britannica Academic: Click on the box with the checkmark at the top of the article. Copy the citation. Paste it into the NoodleTools template. 
  • Salem Online: Click on "Article Citation" Choose the MLA citation to copy the citation. Paste it into the NoodleTools template. 

 

Common errors in a citation

ALL CAPITAL LETTERS!!! 

  • Fix anything that is normally not in ALL CAPS!

  • "LOOKING IN THE GUTTER"  --- Change to "Looking in the Gutter" 

  • What is ok? 
    • ESPN
    • EBSCO
    • Some journals: BMJ: British Medical Journal
