Suggested start to your research process

 

  1. Start with CIA World FactBook - Get all the updated information about your country. 
  2. Read through the history of your country in Britannica Academic - Look for Features, Regions, Cities, Major Events and Eras 
  3. Make an outline of things you can talk about. USE your AP Themes 
  4. Look through the PRINT RESOURCES for your country - Choose a topic you found in Britannica Academic to look up. 
  5. Do you need more information about a person, go to Gale Biography
  6. Do you need information about an event, go to Gale World History and Modern World History (Infobase)
  7. Religion? Go to Gale eBooks and search your country in the "History Collection" section
  8. Go to the UNESCO website to see which sites in your country have been protected by this organization. Why were they chosen?
  9. Go to Gale Opposing Viewpoints and look under "War and Diplomacy" section and/or look up your country.
  10. Use Gale Opposing Viewpoints for any issues in your country.
  11. Use the United Nations: Human Development Reports website to find other statistics about your country
