Citing a website? 

Use the NoodleTools template: ChooseWebsite” then chooseWebpage

  • Add the following information from the website/article to the template.
    • URL, Title of Website, Title of Article, Author, Date Published, Access Date (Today’s date) 
    • NO publisher

Copy and paste the citation into the NoodleTools template: 

Choose: Database à Anthology

In the template: CLICK “QUICK CITE” to Copy and Paste the citation in this spot. 

Britannica Academic

If the article you are citing HAS ONE OR MORE CONTRIBUTORS/Authors listed. 

You must INPUT the information into the template

  • NoodleTools Template: Choose Database --> Reference Source 
  • Under the "Database" section - click on "E-publication (Born Digital)"

Add the following: 

  • Database publisher:  Encyclopædia Britannica
  • Date of publication
  • Access date
  • Author(s)
  • Article Title
  • Title of Encyclopedia: Britannica Academic

Go to the "My Projects" section of NoodleTools

  • To the right of the “Project Title” column you will see the “Sharing” column 
  • Click the plus sign (+) in the row next your project 
  • Go to the “Share with a Teacher’s Inbox” section 
  • Click “+ Share”. Start typing “2023 Hernandez JRR” and Click “Done”
