  • Contain colorful images, drawings, photographs, etc of your own choosing. Since you are not creating the images, you must give the person credit who produced the image.

The secession of South Carolina

The Trent Affair

Battle of Antietam

Battle of Shiloh

Battle of Bull Run (1st)

Battle of Gettysburg

The suspension of the Writ of Habeas Corpus

The draft riots in Richmond, VA and New York City, NY

You must have at least twenty events on your timeline

For each event on your timeline:

  • Provide dates
  • Provide important key names associated with the event
  • Provide a brief summary of the event (at least four to five sentences).
  • Provide the significance of this event to the Civil War and/or American History as a whole. (at least TWO sentences)

***All writing on your timeline must be in your own words!!!! If you copy and paste off the internet, that is called plagiarism. You will go to the Honor Council and receive a zero!!!
